Expect other managers to follow suit...

Roma manager Luciano Spalletti engaged in a brilliant psychological battle with fans of opposition Crotone at the weekend, and proceeded to stare them out for several minutes.

The Romans cruised to a 2-0 away victory over the newly-promoted minnows, with goals from Edin Dzeko and the in-form Radja Nainggolan, but in the latter stages of the match, their coach didn't seem at all pleased with his afternoon's work.

Apparently, Spalletti had been taking abuse from fans perched just above the away dugout, and with the three points already sealed and in the bag, the intimidating Italian attempted to get his own back on the loud-mouthed group:

That's one way to deal with fans giving out a bit of stick from the stands.

Spalletti, in his second spell managing Roma certainly had the last laugh in this game.

Yesterday's victory means Roma stay second in Serie A but remain seven points behind leaders Juventus.

But after Spalletti's theatrics, we reckon he and his side should be made Italian champions - immediately.

Can you imagine Ferguson, Wenger or Mourinho trying the same? How would these sort of tactics go down in England?
