Ole Gunnar Solskjær suffered his first Premier League defeat as Manchester United manager after Arsenal beat the Red Devils 2-0.

Unai Emery's men took an early lead through Granit Xhaka, whose first-half strike benefited from a wrong-footed David de Gea.

While United tried to come back into the match, the Red Devils were dealt a major blow when they conceded a penalty in the second half.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stepped up and slotted the ball past de Gea, sealing an important three points at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have climbed above United in the table to fourth and are one point behind Tottenham Hotspur, following on from their shock 2-1 defeat to Southampton on Saturday.

Will United finish in the top four this season?
