Manchester United have knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup after sealing a 3-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexis Sánchez opened the scoring for the Red Devils against his former club.

Romelu Lukaku played the perfect ball to the 30-year-old former Gunners star, who dinked the ball past Petr Čech.

The 25-year-old Belgian striker once again had a part to play in United's second. He slotted the ball into the path of Jesse Lingard, who fired in the club's second before half-time.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pulled Arsenal back into the match before the end of the first half.

However, Anthony Martial came off the bench to score United's third and sealed the Gunners' fate.

Ahead of the match, Unai Emery warned his players of the transformation that United have had under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

"It's a different team," he said. "It's the same players but they are playing with a big performance now.

"I was watching their last matches and and each player has a lot of confidence, with big performances, and now they are very dangerous."
