It might no longer be around, but most football fans remember the time when Barcelona lined up with the 'MSN' trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar.

Just seeing those names featured in Barça's starting XI would make any opposition team feel worried about the threat they could -- and would -- pose in front of the net.

So, it is hardly surprising that most people were shocked when the 26-year-old Brazilian decided to pack his bags and complete a world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

Now, Atlético Madrid's Juanfran has spoken out about the PSG forward, revealing why he thinks he's the exact "opposite" to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

"For me, Messi is the best, I've always said it," he said (via GiveMeSport). "He and Cristiano [Ronaldo] have marked differences, but Leo has always had a little more. I respect him very much.

"On the field, you can kick him, he doesn't complain much. Neymar, on the other hand, is the opposite of Messi."

The 33-year-old Spanish right-back is taking no prisoners with that comment. To be fair, though, it's always going to be a different conversation when almost any player is compared to the Argentine magician.

After all, former Barcelona star Samuel Eto'o recently revealed what he told Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira before he played against Messi in 2005.

Barcelona will return from the international break to take on Atlético next week. Ernesto Valverde's team suffered a major setback after a 4-3 defeat to Real Betis over the weekend, which leaves them one point clear of Sevilla, Atlético and Deportivo Alavés.

Diego Simeone's men, on the other hand, produced a sensational display against Athletic Bilbao, winning 3-2 after Diego Godín struck in injury time.
