Cristiano Ronaldo already won the hearts of Juventus fans before even signing for them.

Real Madrid secured their third Champions League in a row last season following the heroics of Ronaldo who chipped in with an impressive 15 goals, five more than nearest rival Roberto Firmino.

He bagged a few against Juventus in the quarter-finals including a truly outrageous acrobatic effort.

Ronaldo just put his side three-up and as he wheeled away in celebration, Juventus fans rose to their feet while applauding a rival player out of respect for his brilliance.

He reacted graciously by holding his hands up, while gesturing to the home faithfuls by sticking his thumbs up in a beautiful moment.

The 33-year-old superstar will now call Juventus home following the completion of a stunning £88 million transfer.

He calls time on his storied Real Madrid career, by reportedly penning a four-year contract worth £26.5 million a season.

Ronaldo has won the lot with Real Madrid since arriving in 2009 from Manchester United for a then-recording breaking fee.

La Liga titles as well as an incredible four Champions League, three years on the bounce.

While Juventus clean up domestic honours year in year out, the addition of Ronaldo will bolster their chances of raising the prestigious Champions League trophy.

A title they have failed to win since 1996. The Serie A outfit have made five final appearances since beating Ajax in 1995/96.
