Another one.

Former Arsenal player Jose Antonio Reyes has completed a move to Chinese side Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard.

The Spaniard was once cited as the next big thing. He joined the Gunners in 2004, before moving back to his native Spain to play for Real Madrid - but now, the attacker has joined a side in bottom half of China's second league.

He has some years in him left, at the age of 34, and he will play for a side that's located in an area where there is controversy surrounding oppression of the Islamic community by certain officials.

His new club are in the midst of a mini crisis, having failed to win a match in 13 games. They have scored only four goals in this time - and hope that the experienced Reyes could be the answer to their awful record in front of goal.

On Weibo, China's version of Twitter, the club posted to say that their new star: "Will arrive in China in the near future and meet the team to compete in the remaining games of the season".

But there is a break at the moment in China for the World Cup and this means that the Spaniard will not feature in a match for the club until July 14th. We look forward to that.

Reyes spent two and a half years at North London. It was a mixed spell but soon Reyes complained of wanting to return to his homeland and so Real swooped in for him, as he helped them win the La Liga.

He went on to play for Real rivals Atletico Madrid, before making the move to Portugal to play for Benfica, then Sevilla again, before going to Espanyol.

Now he faces a new challenge in China. We wish him the best of luck with it.

Can you think of other players who never quite lived up to their hype? Freddy Adu, anyone? Let us know in the comments section.
