Barcelona are now a massive 19 (!!) points ahead of Real Madrid in the La Liga.

The defending Spanish champions lost their fourth league game of the season on Saturday, losing 1-0 to Villarreal.

The following day, Barcelona fought back from 2-down to record all three points, by beating Real Sociedad 4-2, winning at the Anoeta Stadium for the first time since 2007.

Barcelona have 51 points on the board, compared to Real Madrid's 32 who have a game in hand.

The away win also means Real Madrid are closer to the relegation zone than to the league leaders. Real Madrid are 16 points off Deportivo La Coruna who occupy 18th.

While 19 points off Barcelona.

The Catalans secured their 16th league victory of the campaign courtesy of a spirited fight back.

The hosts raced to a two-goal lead, with Paulinho reducing the deficit on the stroke of half-time.

Luis Suarez then popped up to bag a brace. His first was a sensational effort, curling past the keeper who had no chance. He scored his second, and his sides third, shortly after.

Lionel Messi wrapped up the points with a delicious free-kick.

There's just no stopping Barcelona.

And they have Philippe Coutinho waiting in the wings, too. Scary.

Coutinho, Dembele, Suarez and Messi is a truly terrifying yet mouth-watering vision.
