But it appears Emre Can is going the other way after a slip of the tongue from Gerrard.
"We'll have to see what happens. Emre Can is leaving but Keita is coming in," he said on BT Sports prior to kick-off.
Can, 24, has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A champions, Juventus.
