Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be unveiled by Juventus this weekend in what would be the transfer of the year but in the meantime, some eagle-eyed fans have spotted a 'number seven theory' that makes perfect sense.

So here goes. Real Madrid's number seven is predicted to be presented by the Italian champions on Saturday, which happens to be 7/7.

Ronaldo will also be the 7th Portuguese player ever to play for Juventus if the reported agreement of a four-year contract worth €30 million (£26.5m/$35m) per season goes through.

On top of that Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, who helped the club win their seventh Serie A title last season, is willing to give up his number seven shirt to Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Italian outlet Sport Mediaset

That's right. CR7 himself could become the seventh player to play for Juventus while being presented with the number 7 shirt on the 7/7,

It might just be a massive coincidence but the sheer amount of seven's that keep on cropping up is interesting to say the least.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Turin for some time, but publication Goal are saying that the move has just stepped up a gear; a deal is in place, agreed, and Ronaldo will be playing football in in Italy next season.

Spanish outlet AS also report that they will unveil the player on Saturday the 7th of July, something than fans have picked up on.

Thoughts on the Ronaldo to Juventus rumours? Would he be able to carry on his goalscoring form in Italy?
