Following the news that Leroy Sane would be out for six to seven weeks with ankle ligament damage, Manchester City are ready to splash the cash on Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez, according to reports.
It is believed that Pep Guardiola's side have lodged a €68 million bid for Mahrez, according to France Football.

On the other hand, Goal report that Pep Guardiola's side will make an 'audacious' bid to sign the 26-year-old, but City insiders believe that 'any possible move will be extremely difficult to conclude.'
The report goes on to date that in order for the transfer to go through, the Algerian will have to demand Leicester to leave in the coming hours.

It looks like City want to replace the injured Sane, but Pep's side would have to offer over £90 million to even raise the prospect of Leicester selling Mahrez, according to The Telegraph.

Well, it appears Sky Sport's Rob Dorsett has got the reason behind his sighting. It seems Mahrez is still good pals with former Foxes teammate N'Golo Kante, with the pair meeting up after the League Cup semi-final second leg.
