Jadon Sancho has been somewhat of a revelation since leaving Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

It has been an incredible journey in Germany for the young winger.

Since joining the Bundesliga side, Sancho has been given the chance to prove himself and by god, has he done just that.

But his incredible record for die Borussen, which includes eight goals and two assists this season, has meant that plenty of potential suitors have been hovering over his availability.

It is believed that one of the clubs interested in signing Sancho is Manchester United, who are lining up a bid for the England international, according to reports.

Dortmund have named a £70 million asking price for the winger, and The Sun report that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are ready to meet their demands in what would be one of the biggest transfers in years.

The fact that he spent a number of years in the Manchester City academy may be a stumbling block, however.

City have a buy-back clause inserted in the 18-year-old's current contract, which means if Pep Guardiola's side decide to match any fee offered for Sancho, they will get first refusal.

Their local rivals also have a 15% sell-on clause in their original deal with Dortmund, according to the report.

That means City would scoop a healthy £10.5 million if he were to move for the £70 million asking price. Not bad at all.

Do you think Sancho should make a return to the Premier League next season, or should he stay at Borussia Dortmund?

All we know is, the lad has massive potential and a certain someone may have had a big influence in his journey to the top.

Speaking to Goal, the former Manchester City youth player said that he used to watch Ronaldinho when he was growing up, and wants to his reach level on the pitch.

"I can't really speak for everyone, I can only speak on my situation really. My situation was that I just wanted to play football," he said.

"I've always wanted to be a professional footballer, make people watch me and say 'woah,' like how I used to watch Ronaldinho and go 'wow, I want to be like him one day.'

"Hopefully, I could become that level one day and players will look up to me and say wow."

Whatever he decides to do next, I'm sure Sancho will flourish into a top class player like his idol.
