Tottenham Hotspur are facing further delays on their new stadium.

The ground 'may not be ready until March' according to The Times.

March?! The stadium was set to be open for September 2018 but a series of roadblocks has prevented the gates from opening to the frustration of fans.

In the meantime, beginning of last season to be precise - Spurs have been calling Wembley Stadium home.

The North London outfit have since agreed a new term on the national stadium. They'll be playing there for the rest of their 2018/19 campaign, if needed.

Contractors on the project are hopeful the new stadium will be ready for March 2nd.

A Premier League fixture against none other than Arsenal.

What's more, building companies involved reckon the first match will in fact be against their cross-town rivals.

Official word is expected next month.

It's taking an age to build but Spurs' new home is looking smart. Very smart.

The 62,000 capacity stadium is 'nearly' done.
