Well that didn't take long. In the space of a few hours, a petition has been set up after it was confirmed that Loris Karius suffered concussion after a clash with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
Karius underwent a scan on his head after the collision and the results have come back positive.
ESPN report that the German goalkeeper flew to the USA for a holiday and saw a specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital on May 31, with 26 out of the 30 results suggesting that the incident could have affected his performance.
The petition in question is to replay the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid after the injuries to Karius became clear.

Ramos' collision with the goalkeeper happened just two minutes before Karius' first mistake in the game, and then his blunder for Bale's long range finish put the game to bed.
Clearly this fan thinks that it would be 'only fair' to play the fixture again.
At the time of writing, the petition has received over 150 signatures, but it will likely rise in the coming hours.

The description reads: "Loris Karius sustained concussion after Sergio Ramos elbowed the German in the head, prior to his mistakes. It's only fair that UEFA replay the match."
Karius came under a wave of criticism after his two mistakes in the game against Real Madrid cost Liverpool Champions League title, but plenty have backed the German in recent days, especially after the results emerged.
The 24-year-old will remain in America until he returns to England for pre-season training July 2nd.
Thoughts on the news that Karius was in fact concussed during the Champions League final?
