Is Craig Bellamy psychic, has he massively slipped up on TV or is there one big conspiracy theory going around the EFL Cup?

Well, it's hard to find out what the right answer is, but the 39-year-old Welshman has certainly become the talking point of social media after his comments on the next round of the competition.

The former Manchester City and Liverpool star was on Sky Sports ahead of the semi-final draw and claimed that Pep Guardiola's side would face Burton Albion.

The presenter reminded him that the draw had not taken place yet and he swiftly took the attention away from the Sky Sports pundit.

But it looks like the damage has already been done.

The draw has been made today after Tottenham Hotspur's victory over Arsenal and, well, City will play against Burton Albion!

Football fans have stormed to Twitter to talk about the conspiracy theory surrounding Bellamy.
