Eight years after the 'Vuvuzela' became a thing at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, fans have brough them back to the tournament in a decision that will hurt our ears for weeks to come. PLEASE NO.

If you're unfamiliar with the 'Vuvuzela' then you've had a very lucky escape, trust me.

Basically, it's a massive plastic horn that sounds like a million wasps have invaded the football pitch and are out to sting every human in sight.

It was subject to much controversy in 2010 and once again, people are complaining that the noise is a huge distraction.

Not to mention the fact they are genuinely a huge headache.

Fans watching at home are even muting their television sets in a bid to stop this absolute madness. Someone start a petition, quick.


In the opening three games of the tournament, Vuvezelas have been prominent in every single minute and people are starting to take real offence to the noise.
