Anthony Martial has been re-called to the France squad.

But there's still no place for not one but TWO other Premier League stars.

Martial, 22, is wrecking havoc for Manchester United following a summer of certainty. He was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford as a host of clubs circled.

But he remained in England and is now producing heroics, creating and scoring goals this season.

And he's been rewarded for his club heroics. Didier Deschamps has named his squad for international fixtures against the Netherlands & Uruguay, and it includes Martial.

Martial joins fellow attackers; Ousmane Dembele, Nabil Fekir, Olivier Giroud, Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Florian Thauvin.

Lethal.

However, there's still no place for Alexandre Lacazette who's firing under Unai Emery at Arsenal.

Not to mention Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte.

There's actually a theory as to why he's yet to be called up.

Per Sport Witness, former France youth coach Pierre Mankowski has spoken on his experiences coaching Laporte earlier in his career, stating:

"He does not engage with the collective. He is a loner. When he communicates, it may seem awkward, because he has a great perception of his value and he shows it."

Deschamps is a big believer in keeping his squad harmonious. Mankowski went on to add: "In the end, he's a good pro who has trouble enrolling in the collective."

Laporte's club colleague, Benjamin Mendy, is featured in Deschamps' team, though.
