Imke Wubbenhorst made history in 2018 when she was appointed the first team manager of German sixth division side BV Cloppenburg.
In turn, she officially became the first female coach to manage in the top five divisions of men's football in Germany.
Wubbenhorst, who was previously the assistant manager at BV Cloppenburg before taking over first team duties, was tasked with saving the club from relegation.

And although she has yet to take charge of her first game with the Oberliga Lower Saxony side, she has already made an impression with journalists.
In an interview with German publication Welt, the 30-year-old was asked whether her players have to put pants on before she comes into the changing room.
Wubbenhorst quickly delivered a brilliant, cutting response. She sarcastically replied: "Of course, I'm a professional, I pick the team on penis size."

Now that is how you respond to a stupid question in an interview. Fair play.
In addition, the 30-year-old also spoke of how one of her assistant coaches, who had been employed under the previous manager, told her he wouldn't pick up training cones for a woman, according to publication Stuff.
She is set to take over first team duties this month following the departure of Olaf Blanke.
The 30-year-old, who played for Germany's under 23's and current side BV Cloppenberg during her playing career, has made history in the past couple of months.

We wish her all the best in her managerial journey.
What an inspiration.
