Jesse Lingard Has Kickabout With Local Kids After They Approach His Car

Brilliant.

Back in 2017, Manchester United and England midfielder Jesse Lingard stunned a bunch of youngsters when he rocked up, unannounced, in their local neighborhood.

Ahead of United's pre-season tour in America last season, the 25-year-old eventually started a kickabout with the kids after they ran over to his Bentley, screaming and shouting in utter disbelief.

Footballers have been criticised in the past for not interacting with supporters, but Lingard proves that stereotype wrong with this brilliant footage from last year.

The above footage has re-emerged online after Liverpool Football Club confirmed they have made Merseyside Police aware of the footage and circumstances surrounding a clip of Mohamed Salah allegedly using his phone behind the wheel.

Footage shows the Egyptian surrounded by a number of fans as he sits in his Mercedes-Benz.

It looks like the player fails to acknowledge those around him and continues to use his phone while driving his vehicle.

Merseyside Police's official Twitter account released a statement earlier confirming that they are aware of the clip and have passed it onto the relevant department:

"We have been made aware of a video believed to show a footballer using a mobile phone whilst driving." it read.

"This has been passed to the relevant department. Thanks for letting us know.
