Forget Cristiano Ronaldo's melted face in Madeira Airport folks because Mohamed Salah has been immortalised in Egypt with the most bizarre statue ever. Don't believe me?

Salah's statue features at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El Sheikh, a place where fans can visit the piece from November 3rd to the 6th.

Egyptian sculptor Mai Abdel Allah has unveiled the piece of art, but many have agreed that it looks nothing like the Liverpool forward.

Be honest - what do you think?

I mean, he's got the classic Salah celebration down to a tee, minus the smile, but why are his ears and nose so big?

Which do you prefer - Cristiano Ronaldo's statue in Madeira or the new Mohamed Salah piece?

Last year, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner had an airport in Madeira named after him, with an event held where fans and guests such as Portugal's Prime Minister watched a ceremony where the airport was officially christened 'Aeroporto Cristiano Ronaldo'.

However, the bust that was officially unveiled to commemorate his achievements looked more like the head from Art Attack.

You can always rely on a statue to cheer you up.
