To Jose Mourinho, if you need a forward who can score goals, goals and more goals, then look no further than the incredibly talented Mason Greenwood.

The 17-year-old wonderkid gave us 'one of the best individual performances ever seen' from a United youth player when his side came up against Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup, last night.

Chelsea may be a team that have lifted he trophy for five consecutive yeas but Greenwood came along and spoiled the party with a stunning hat-trick.

It was the first time since 2013 that the Blues had been knocked out of the competition and boy, what a way to go out. Take it away, Mason.

Surely he deserves a call-up after his performance, last night?

The 17-year-old has scored 22 goals in 19 games for the youth side so far this season, and was called up by Jose Mourinho for Champions League duty when United travelled to face Valencia last week.

But the youngster has yet to make a senior appearance at Old Trafford, something that the manager should seriously consider after the above highlights.

The guy is on a different level.

Greenwood has also made a big impact in the club's UEFA Youth League, scoring four goals in five appearances, including a brace against Young Boys. Just look at the above.

His performances in recent months, combined with that performance against Chelsea in the Youth Cup, that have led fans to believe he could do a job in the first team.

But is Jose Mourinho really the man to nurture his talent? Michael Carrick and Ed Woodward were in attendance last night, so who knows.
