Jose Mourinho has previously questioned Luke Shaw's fitness, as well as his overall commitment and attitude, but the Manchester United left-back is making a real statement in pre-season training this summer.
Shaw will be eager to be involved in Mourinho's plans next season after a stop-start 2017/18 campaign.
Let's be honest, he's struggled for minutes in the first team since suffering that horrific double leg fracture against PSV Eindhoven in 2015, but he will be looking to try and force his way into contention in the coming months.

In fact, the 22-year-old was spotted training at the Nad Al Sheba Complex in Dubai ahead of a return to Carrington to improve his overall fitness and now he's finally in pre-season training, making waves.
According to Metro, Manchester United's staff have been 'astounded' by Shaw's overall fitness levels as he bids for a first team place.
He has topped the charts in different checks and it looks like he's already reaping the benefits. The defender posted the following picture on his Instagram on Friday morning with the caption: "Pre season ready"

Manchester United then re-posted the snap on Twitter, with many fans agreeing that he looks in great shape ahead of the new season.
Can he break into their first team set-up in the coming months?
Shaw responded to a Twitter user earlier by saying "Am not finished yet" as he bids for first team football next season.
Does Mourinho need to give Shaw more of a chance to prove himself in the first team? He's obviously got the potential to be a key player, but it needs to be unlocked.
