Liverpool are set to release a stunning new 'blackout' alternative kit - but it's extremely unlikely that Jurgen Klopp's first-team will ever wear it...but it's still absolute fire.
As we've told you previously, strip manufacturers New Balance have received more than their fair share of criticism in during the summer after revealing the club's new bold purple away kit, and the grey 'European' uniform didn't go down too well either.

And it seems they're keen to make amends with Reds supporters after designing this classy new jersey, with the American brand re-imagining the Anfield club's current home kit.
Wow.
It keeps all logos and details but re-colors them black, including the New Balance, Standard Chartered and Liverpool logos as well as the subtle 1990s-inspired pattern found on the original.

Just like the red home shirt, the Liverpool Blackout design has a classic polo collar and is based on the regular New Balance 2018-19 template.
According to the usually reliable Footy Headlines, the blackout kit will be released 'shortly' but is more of a collector's item, rather than a replacement for the grey or purple incumbents.
A formal price hasn't been unveiled as yet, but it's likely to cost somewhere in the region of £70 - £100 - so would you buy it?
