France striker Antoine Griezmann netted one of the best headers we've seen in some time against Germany on Tuesday night.

The 27-year-old showcased his incredible reaction times in the Nations League group stage tie, leveling the match in the 62nd minute.

Lucas Hernandez whipped the ball in with pace from the left flank and despite having such a short amount of time to think about his next move, Griezmann powered in an unstoppable header past a helpless Manuel Neuer.

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos opened the scoring in the 14th minute from the penalty spot, but this finish was the moment of the game.

Griezmann later added another to his tally against the former world champions, converting from the penalty spot.

The Atletico Madrid forward has had an incredibly successful year, winning the World Cup with France, and he reckons he should be included in the Balon d'Or top three.

"I deserve to be in the top three," he told L'Equipe.

"It's weird and a pity. This is a trophy that's awarded by FIFA, right? We won a World Cup and there's no Frenchman on the shortlist. That's the choice, but it's surprising."

Does Griezmann deserve more credit for his efforts?
