"Cheer up, Real. You know what they say. Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse..."

The iconic words of Monty Python's 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life' song was heard around the Bernabeu on Wednesday night as Ajax knocked four past European champions Real Madrid.

Erik ten Hag's youthful side deservedly secured a place in the Champions League quarter-finals thanks to goals from Ziyech, Neres, Tadic and Schone.

And in the second half of last night's drubbing the majority of Ajax fans, who travelled over 900 miles to watch history unravel, belted out this particular song on an unbelievable night in the Spanish capital.

Even before kick-off, the away support flooded the city, bouncing up and down in an incredible atmosphere.

Of course, this isn't the first time Ajax fans have been linked with a famous song.

In September last year, Bob Marley's 'Three Little Birds' song rang around Ajax's famous Johan Cruyff Arena, a moment that involved Bob's son.

Ky-Mani Marley, one of 11 acknowledged children of the late reggae music icon, sang some of his father's iconic song on the pitch for all of those in attendance.

There he was, in his Ajax shirt, making everyone feel alright.

He and the fans teamed up for a rendition of 'One Love' but this performance of 'Three Little Birds' was something else. If you don't get goosebumps watching it, then there's something seriously wrong.

It's just wonderful stuff.
