Spurs have inflicted Chelsea with their first Premier League defeat of the season.

Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea went 12 league games without losing, recording eight victories and four draws but his side have succumbed to Spurs this evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's charges secured all three league points in a stunning performance at Wembley Stadium.

Dele Alli opened the scoring in the eighth minute with Harry Kane doubling Spurs' advantage from long range.

In the second-half, Spurs increased their lead thanks to a superb solo goal from Heung-Min Son, who weaved his way through Jorginho and David Luiz before coolly finding the back of the net.

Olivier Giroud pulled one back in the 85th minute.

As a result, Spurs move above Chelsea to third place, three points off Liverpool and five points adrift of defending champions, Manchester City.

The North London outfit now switch attention to their Champions League venture as they host Inter Milan next Wednesday, before visiting the Emirates in a tasty fixture.
