So, about events that transpired at Villa Park on Tuesday night.

Aston Villa and Preston North End settled for a draw in a crazy six goal thriller, James Chester was sent off and Villa were also awarded a last-minute penalty but missed the spot-kick.

Oh, and a fan smuggled in a cabbage, throwing the f**king thing at manager Steve Bruce.

Yes, a cabbage!

Villa fans are getting tired of their managerial regime, pinning blame on current boss Bruce.

Evident from last night's actions where a fan launched a cabbage at him before kick-off.

Naturally, 'cabbage' was trending on Twitter with someone even creating a account for the vegetable.

Introducing; 'Aston Villa Cabbage - @AstonCabbage'.

It has already posted a viral Tweet.

"I could have taken that penalty," the account posted following Glenn Whelan's missed 97th-minute penalty.

Speaking after the 3-3 draw, Bruce felt hugely disrespected.

"The guy who is being questioned...unfortunately, it sums up the society we are in at the moment. There's no respect for anyone," he said.

The 57-year-old added: "I find the whole thing hugely disrespectful.

"The one thing I've always had is the determination to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. I'll always have a go."

Who even takes a cabbage to a football match...?!
