Ronaldo has been discharged after spending four days in the hospital with Pneumonia.

It was reported that the Brazilian asked for a transfer to Clinica Nuestra Señora del Rosariro per respected island daily Diario de Ibiza and now, the private hospital has confirmed that the former Barcelona striker left at 10:30am local time.

The 41-year-old took to Twitter earlier to thank everyone for their kind messages:

"Friends, I had a strong flu in Ibiza and had to go into hospital on Friday, but all is in order. Tomorrow I will be given the green light and I'll return home.

"Thank you for all your care and messages."

He later posted on Facebook to confirm his current state:

"Hi guys. I'm already home after a few days at the clinic. Thank you all for caring comments and positive energy. Many thanks also to the team of doctors and nurses for the kindness and attention that they answered me these days.

"@Celinalocks thanks for being by my side at all hours! Now let's focus on football! This season is going to be amazing and promises many news.
