Romelu Lukaku Explains Why He Didn't Celebrate Win Against Man City At Full-Time

Plenty commented that he didn't seem his usual self during the game...

It was arguably the best day of the season for everyone associated with Manchester United football club, but Romelu Lukaku didn't celebrate the win as much as he hoped and there's a very good reason why.

Ilkay Gundogan and Vincent Kompany gave City a 2-0 lead at half-time but that didn't last long. Two goals from Paul Pogba and a tap in from Chris Smalling meant that Jose Mourinho's side spoiled the title celebrations.

The likes of Pogba, Lingard and Antonio Valencia were very active in the celebrations after the game. Romelu Lukaku, on the other hand, couldn't join his teammates for too long.

The Belgian striker has since revealed that he was throwing up in the dressing room toilets

A member of Manchester United's media team, Adam Marshall, confirmed the news earlier today.

Many spotted that Lukaku didn't exactly have one of the best games of his career against Pep Guardiola's side but this is surely a good enough explanation for his 'poor' performance at the weekend.

It has emerged though that Lukaku will likely play on Sunday against West Brom in the league.

Thoughts on Lukaku's influence for Manchester United this season?
