Barcelona legend Carles Puyol has sent out a brutal dig at France Football after Lionel Messi's brilliant performance against Espanyol.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored a superb free-kick in the first half to open the scoring for the Spanish club, as well as providing an assist for Ousmane Dembélé's fantastic finish.
In the second half, the 31-year-old Argentine ace scored another sublime free-kick.
Puyol has taken to Twitter after Barça's 4-0 thrashing of Espanyol to tweet about the Ballon d'Or, which Messi finished in fifth place for in this year's award.
"Anybody doubt who's the best? They don't need individual prizes..." he said in a rough translation.
