Paul Pogba Is Suspended And Everyone Is Confused As Fuck About It

The world's most expensive player might have to wait a while longer for his debut

Paul Pogba's Manchester United debut has been delayed after the FA confirmed that the world's most expensive player is suspended for Sunday's opening weekend clash against Bournemouth.

While it is unlikely that the French midfielder would have started the game against the Cherries, due to a lack of training time, he would have almost definitely been named on the bench by Jose Mourinho, but now it seems that the £89m man will have to wait until next Friday to make his second bow for the Red Devils.

However, no one seemed to understand why Pogba would be serving a suspension, given that it's four years since he last played a game in England and no existing suspensions had been mentioned anywhere during his protracted Summer transfer saga.

However, the confusion was quickly cleared up, with the suspension relating to Pogba picking up two yellow cards during last season's Coppa Italia. The punishment for these offences has now been transferred from the Italian FA to be served in England.

This news wasn't exactly warmly received, either.

So for those Fantasy Football managers among you who threw the Frenchman straight into your line ups for this weekend, you may want to perform some last minute changes.
