Olivier Giroud Inspires Stunning Chelsea Comeback Against Southampton

Chelsea have fought back from two-down to secure all three Premier League points.

The defending English champions headed to Southampton, seeking for three valuable points to chase down Spurs.

Antonio Conte's side are currently occupying fifth spot, and trail their London rivals by a massive ten points.

And it looked like it was going to stay 10 points following Chelsea's miserable start at St. Mary's.

Dusan Tadic opened the scoring for the hosts, before Jan Bednarek scored on his Premier League debut to double Southampton's advantage.

However, Southampton, who are also in desperate need of points, failed to hold onto their lead.

Substitute OIivier Giroud pulled one back. Eden Hazard then leveled the game, with the French striker completing a stunning comeback.

Chelsea are now seven points behind Spurs, who entertain league leaders Manchester City tonight.
