One of Kevin-Prince Boateng's old Tweets has gone viral.

Back in the summer, Kevin-Prince Boateng uploaded an interesting post about Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2018 World Cup.

He shared an image of the Juventus striker accompanied with the words: "THE BEST."

It's naturally doing the rounds on social media, again, following the 31-year-old linking up with Lionel Messi's Barcelona.

'Delete before Messi sees' is the pick of the reactions to his post from last June.

To be fair, while Boateng is in awe of Ronaldo, he has suggested his new teammate Lionel Messi is out of this world.

"For youngsters that are footballers, Ronaldo would have to be the best in the world," he said.

"He is the best example to focus on because he trains at his maximum and has talent.

"He works like a crazy person, he's passionate about what he does and about football. He always wants to be the best, always wants to be first in everything. He would have to be the model for everyone.

"But what Cristiano does works in this world, and only in this world.

"Outside of this world, the best is Messi. Because he's incredible.

"He does things that nobody else can do. Because of this, I don't seem as of this world. Cristiano dominates this world and Messi is ahead of everyone."

Meanwhile, the La Liga giants have secured his services on an initial loan deal till the end of the season, and includes an option to buy for £7 million.

The Ghanaian international has enjoyed spells across England, Italy and Germany. He's also plied his trade in Spain with Las Palmas back in 2016.
