Mario Balotelli Brutally Trolls Manchester United On Instagram After Derby Loss

Of course, Mario Balotelli has weighed in on the Manchester derby.

Manchester City secured Premier League points and bragging rights on Sunday, beating cross-town rivals United 3-1 at the Etihad thanks to goals from David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan.

After regaining top spot from Liverpool, social media went into overdrive including a post from City's official Instagram account.

They uploaded a picture of Aguero accompanied with the words: "The one and only! #MCIMUN#mancity"

Balotelli wasted no time in rubbing the victory in by responding to City's post.

"Once a blue always a blue!!! Man utd LOL AGAIN AND AGAIN!"

Ouch.

The maverick Italian striker etched himself into Manchester derby history following his celebration antics.

He bagged a goal in City's famous 6-1 victory at Old Trafford, revealing a message underneath his match shirt which read: "Why always me?"

Classic Mario.

Balotelli wasn't the only person mocking United.

Kyle Walker, who played at right-back on Sunday, immediately posted on Twitter after City's league win. He shared a poem which was swiftly deleted.

As mentioned, City return to the summit of the Premier League two points ahead of Liverpool.

City, meanwhile, resume their league campaign against West Ham United following the international break.
