On the 25th February 2016, a relatively unknown teenager introduced himself to world football with two goals in the Europa League.

The name Marcus Rashford suddenly rolled off the tongue like we had been uttering his name for years. On that special night in Manchester, a star was born.

In the coming months, the teenager would bulk out and become a physical threat.

He may have arrived on the scene as a scrawny teenager but he clearly worked hard on his strength and conditioning, and ahead of the World Cup next month, Rashford looks in the shape of his life.

He posted the above picture to Instagram with the caption: "Few days rest to recharge but keeping conditioned, big summer ahead."

Gareth Southgate will be reliant on Rashford as they come up against the likes of Belgium and Panama in the opening group games, with his pace and power being arguably his biggest threat.

Rashford, who is clearly eager to improve his already impressive fitness, was snapped showing off his reflexes while on holiday.

Again, you can see how shredded the 20-year-old is as the World Cup approaches.

The England manager announced his 23-man squad earlier this month and moments after Rashford was named among those who will wear the Three Lions this summer, he posted the perfect message on Twitter.

"After years of you standing on the touch line in the cold and rain, Mum we're off to the World Cup!" he wrote.

Will Marcus Rashford be a threat at the World Cup this summer?

Let us know in the comments.
