Manuel Neuer is excited to play at Liverpool and he's revealed how he'll deal with the famous Anfield atmosphere.

The 32-year-old stopper has shrugged off a hand injury and is expected to start in goal on Tuesday. Ahead of the first-leg, he's explained his approach to the home crowd.

"Everyone who watches a lot football knows it's a special atmosphere," he said.

"Does it matter? Of course. I like it when fans are cheering a lot, close to the goal. But if you want to speak to your colleagues on the pitch it's not that easy when it's loud, they can't hear you.

"You have to speak in a different way. When you see each other and you have good body language, you know what's going on."

Neuer also gives a shout out to his former manager Pep Guardiola.

"When the coach has great body language, you can see it," he added.

"[Pep] was always showing us some things on the pitch and he was a great example to show us what to do on the pitch. He was always speaking with his body language."

And Neuer is a fan of Liverpool's No.1: "I like his style. I've seen him at Rome, and I've seen him in the Brazil team, he's doing a great job."
