More disharmony in the Manchester United camp.

A toxic atmosphere is brewing at Old Trafford following the rift between manager Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba, whose future remains subject to intense transfer speculation.

Fans, experts and critics are calling for Jose Mourinho's head after a run of terrible results.

That dreadful form continued on Tuesday night as United produced an uninspiring performance against Valencia, firing blank in a god-awful goalless draw.

Naturally, the pressure increased on Mourinho.

Social media went into overdrive including a post from 'teamvalencia25' which called for Mourinho to be sacked.

What's more, the Instagram upload was 'liked' by none other than Antonio Valencia.

The post reads: "I'm not even surprised about the outcome of this game.

"I always look forward to our games but recently Mourinho has made watching us a punishment now. Something needs to change. It's time for Mourinho to go."

Valencia has since responded.

"Yesterday, I liked a post on Instagram without reading the text that accompanied the picture. These are not my views and I apologise for this. I am fully supportive of the manager and my teammates. We are all giving our everything to improve the results," he wrote on Twitter.

Mourinho has already fallen out with Pogba, stripping him of vice-captaincy. Valencia, club captain, could be next on the chopping board.

Anyway, Manchester United resume their woeful Premier League campaign this weekend as they host Newcastle United.

The Red's are languishing in the league, currently occupying 10th spot and already nine points adrift of Manchester City and Liverpool.

Does Mourinho need to go?

Let us know.
