Luke Shaw made his first start for Manchester United in over 200 days tonight and people were buzzing about the left-back's return to Jose Mourinho's first team.
The 23-year-old defender has struggled under Mourinho over the past 18 months with both public criticism from his manager and a succession of injuries that have kept him on the sidelines.
Many fans have believed that Shaw's time at Old Trafford is nearing an end, with Newcastle United and Tottenham strongly linked with a move for the England international, who has only made 49 appearances for United in three years, before tonight.

However, an impressive showing against CSKA Moscow in United's final Champions League group game has given many Red Devils' fans hope that Mourinho will stick with Shaw for a while yet and allow him to blossom into the top full-back they so desperately need on the left of their defence.

Could this be the start of a second chance for Shaw at Old Trafford under Mourinho or will the Portuguese manager once again reduce the 23-year-old to a permanent role on the sidelines?
