Liverpool have moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League after Manchester City suffered a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City.

Pep Guardiola's men took the lead through Bernardo Silva, but Marc Albrighton would equalise for the Foxes and the score ended 1-1 at half-time.

However, Claude Puel rallied his men in the second half and Ricardo would score in the 81st minute to hand his side a memorable win at the King Power Stadium.

Guardiola watched as his City side were reduced to 10 men in the dying stages of the match after Fabian Delph was sent off.

Meanwhile, Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool thrashed Newcastle United 4-0, with Dejan Lovren, Mohamed Salah, Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho all getting their names on the scoresheet.

Tottenham Hotspur have climbed above City into second place, as Mauricio Pochettino's men steamrolled Bournemouth 5-0 at Wembley Stadium.
