Liverpool fans are convinced Roberto Firmino is working to persuade Philippe Coutinho to return to Anfield this summer.

The former Liverpool teammates have been partying in style following Brazil's Copa America triumph on home soil.

Firmino and his family staged a carnival-themed party with Coutinho joining in on the fun and their exchange got Liverpool fans excited amid intense transfer speculation.

Is 'Agent Bobby' in full flow? Well, some fans think he's in action as Liverpool Twitter went into meltdown. Here's some reaction from social media:

Coutinho's agent Kia Joorabchian revealed that the player would find it difficult to go to one of Liverpool's Premier League rivals.

"I think Liverpool lies very, very deeply in his heart, he was a big fan of them throughout the campaign [last season]," he said.

"He was wishing for them to win the title and he has a very strong affinity there so I think it will be very difficult for him to go to a direct competitor of Liverpool from a personal standpoint."

The 27-year-old attack-minded midfielder has struggled at Barcelona following his big-money switch in January 2017.

His days in Spain appear to be numbered with the Reds keen on resigning him ahead of the 2019/20 season.

And reports in Italy suggest Coutinho has given his approval to a stunning offer from Liverpool to take him back on a two-year loan with the option to buy for £88 million.
