Lionel Messi's 20-Yard Curling Strike Literally Came Out Of Nowhere

His 21st league goal of the season was a beauty.

Lionel Messi rescued a point for Barcelona by bagging a brace and he did it in typically stunning, stunning fashion.

Valencia raced into a two-goal lead thanks to strikes from Kevin Gameiro and Daniel Parejo. But their advantage was short lived after Lionel Messi converted a first-half penalty.

He then bagged his second goal just after the hour mark to level the game.

Messi struck a beauty from outside of the box as the ball delightfully curled into the back of the net leaving Valencia's Neto rooted.

What a strike. Messi's now got 21 La Liga goals to his name as he enjoys another prolific campaign for Barcelona.

Not to mention 10 assists. There's just no stopping Messi's brilliance. He's actually getting better and it's genuinely scary, but a sheer pleasure to watch it all unfold.

Anyway, the Catalan club move six points clear of Atletico Madrid who resume their league campaign on Sunday against Real Betis.
