Imagine last night's match being your first game at Villa Park.

Well, one life-long Villa fan finally realised a dream and visited the iconic stadium for the first time, and he was treated to a barnburner of a game.

After beating local rivals Birmingham on the weekend, Villa hosted Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night and it was an instant classic.

Villa and Forest were involved in a 10-goal thriller!

Over 30,000 fans watched on in amazement including one supporter from the States.

Introducing Preston Petri. The Texas-native, who grew up supporting Villa, watched his first game at Villa Park, last night.

Incredible. He witnessed a truly ridiculous league encounter.

A night Preston won't be forgetting any time soon.

Both the hosts and visitors took turns taking the lead with Villa's Tammy Abraham bagging not one but FOUR goals.

Lewis Grabban, Joao Carvalho, Matt Cash and Joe Lolley all got on the score-sheet for Forest.

Villa's next home game is in a few weeks against Stoke City? *Eyes emoji*
