Yes, you did read that headline correctly. The infamous Jabulani ball that was heavily criticised at the 2010 tournament in South Africa has been voted the greatest World Cup ball of all time.
It's unpredictable trajectory and unique design left plenty of goalkeepers in a state of panic.
"The new ball is not decent, not just for goalkeepers but for everyone. Its trajectory is unpredictable." said Italy goalkeeper Gigi Buffon before the tournament kicked off."

Spain's number one, Iker Casillas, was also critical of the Jabulani, saying: "It's a little sad that in a competition as big as the World Cup to have such a poor ball. It's not just the goalkeepers complaining, but the outfield players as well."
Even outfield players raged over the design. Italy striker Giampaolo Pazzini said: "It's a disaster. It moves so much and makes it difficult to control. You jump up to head a cross and suddenly the ball will move and you miss it!"
Despite the utter hatred of the ball among professionals, however, thousands of SPORTbible's audience believe that the Jabulani used at the 2010 World Cup is the greatest of all time.

It has beaten the beautiful 2002 Fevernova, used at the World Cup in South Korea and Japan.
As well as the iconic Tango Espana that featured at the 1982 tournament in Spain.
