Gary Lineker Issues Brilliant Apology To Liverpool Star

Gary Lineker has apologised to James Milner for doubting the Liverpool midfielder.

The Match of the Day and BT Sport presenter watched on like the rest of us as the Reds beat Tottenham 2-1 at Wembley this afternoon.

You can't disagree with Lineker's assessment of Milner either - he's really stepped his game up a level under Klopp.

He's been so good that he's contributing to Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson remaining on the bench at the start of this season.

Henderson was a mainstay in the team last term, but can't seem to dislodge Milner, 'Gini' Wijnaldum or Naby Keita from the starting XI at the moment.
