Neymar was fouled 10 times in Brazil's opening match against Switzerland, the most for any player in a World Cup game since England striker Alan Shearer was fouled 11 times against Tunisia on June 15, 1998.

If you didn't catch the game on Sunday evening, the Brazilian spent the majority of his time rolling on the floor.

Swiss midfielder and former West Ham United man Valon Behrami pretty much kicked him from the first minute to the last. It was that bad.

But he kept the most expensive player in world football quiet. Just look at the below stats. He won plenty of duels throughout his time on the pitch.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward looked dangerous at times, but Switzerland kept him under wraps for large spells.

That being said, social media were quick to comment on the amount of times he grabbed his leg in pain, even a few photoshops emerged during and after the 1-1 draw.
