Fans Vote For Michy Batshuayi's Ball In The Face Celebration To Be On FIFA 19

It was one of the funniest moments of the World Cup, this summer.

Belgium narrowly beat England 1-0 thanks to a superb second-half strike from ex-Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj, but everyone was talking about Batshuayi's celebration, seconds after the ball hit the back of the net.

He grabbed then booted the ball, which hit his own face via a ricochet off the post in comedic scenes.

In typically brilliant fashion he reacted by taking the p*ss out of himself on Twitter.

In a recent poll on Twitter, we asked fans to pick a celebration they would like to see in the new FIFA and there was one outright winner.

46% of people want to see Batshuayi's now-famous kick as a new feature on FIFA 19 so you know what to do, EA Sports - give the people what they want.

Antoine Griezmann's 'L' celebration from popular game Fortnite came in second with 25%, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's celebration when they held up their shirt to the crowd came in third with 19%.

Taking a seat in the crowd and applauding yourself was the least favoured suggestion with just 10% of the vote.
