Mohamed Salah has continued his impressive form in the goalscoring stakes for Liverpool this season, bagging 16 goals in 28 games in all competitions, but his record against the top six isn't exactly great for his exceptionally high standards.
Apart from his contribution to Sadio Mane's chance in the first half, the Egyptian was relatively quiet against Manchester City on Thursday evening, which led to one particular statistic going viral among fans.

Salah has now scored just one goal in seven games against the Premier League's current top six sides.
In fact, he's failed to find the net against any team currently in the top four.
The 26-year-old scored a penalty in the 5-1 demolition job of Arsenal towards the end of December but didn't score in games against Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

On top of his poor record in front of goal against the big clubs, Salah has only assisted once, something that many picked up on.
Salah's record in the Champions League against so called 'top teams' is also poor. He failed to score against Paris Saint-Germain twice and Napoli this season.
Plenty of people have since reacted to the statistic on social media.
