Yesterday was a disaster from start to finish for Maurizio Sarri and his Chelsea side.

Not only did they slump to an embarrassing 6-0 defeat against Premier League champions Manchester City, but the club were humiliated even further after the final whistle.

Sergio Aguero bagged a hat-trick, Raheem Sterling scored a brace and Ilkay Gundogan rubbed salt into the wounds.

Guardiola's side retained first place in the league table and Cesar Azpilicueta described it as one of the worst days of his career.

If the 6-0 drubbing wasn't enough, Manchester City decided to pile on further misery after the full-time whistle, blasting out Chelsea's adopted anthem 'One Step Beyond' around the Etihad.

Footage emerged of City fans dancing and singing to the popular anthem and many labelled it classic "shithousery"

Senior officials at Manchester City have since apologised for the incident and according to reports, they ordered the Madness song be cut short.

In fact, the club were quick to say sorry to the visitors for the act so, fair play.

City made a very fast start to the game as Raheem Sterling opened the scoring in the first minute.

Aguero missed an open net before netting twice and Ilkay Gundogan added a fourth in the 25th minute. It was just a performance of the highest order.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have plenty to think about as they try and challenge for the top four.

Thoughts on Manchester City's decision to play Chelsea's adopted anthem 'One Step Beyond' around the Etihad?
