Jose Mourinho is the king of excuses.
In the past, he's blamed floodlight operators for their slow response to a darkening autumn evening. Not to mention the countless times he's blamed poor refereeing decisions.
We've heard plenty of excuses from Mourinho's post-match pressers down the years, but his reasoning behind Manchester United's poor performance against Southampton on Saturday afternoon tops them all.
Despite Romelu Lukaku's winner in a cagey 1-0 win at St Mary's, the 54-year-old blamed 'the sunny weather' for Manchester United's below par performance against Mauricio Pellegrino's side.

It was a bizarre end to a tight affair at St Mary's for the Manchester United boss.
Mourinho was sent to the stands by referee Craig Pawson for his antics on the pitch, as he told his players to get back into position.

Mourinho then proceeded to shake the hand of just about everybody on the Southampton bench.
But United's ability to pick up three points against a struggling Southampton meant they were able to keep up with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
