Everton substitute Moise Kean was "absolutely humiliated" by Duncan Ferguson as he subbed off the youngster after just 18 minutes against Manchester United in a bizarre change.
The 19-year-old entered the fray in the 70th minute in place of Bernard, but his outing lasted for just 18 minutes after the Italian forward was replaced by Oumar Niasse.
Kean cut a dejected figure as his number came up on the board with the player blanking Ferguson before walking straight down to the tunnel.
His cameo appearance at Old Trafford sent social media into overdrive.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw, Ferguson revealed that he dragged the forward off because he wanted to kill some time with a substitute still under his belt.
Kean, meanwhile, has yet to score for Everton since arriving at Goodison Park in the summer from Juventus for £22.5 million.
