Chelsea have finally landed Gonzalo Higuain and he's looking absolutely lethal in training.

Gonzalo Higuain was snapped up earlier in the week yet he wasn't registered in time to make his debut against Spurs in the League Cup.

But, by the looks of the 31-year-old in training, he could very well slot straight into Chelsea's starting XI against Sheffield Wednesday or Bournemouth in the Premier League because he appears to be in fine form.

Chelsea have uploaded a stunning training ground compilation of the Argentinian striker bagging for fun, and it's mightily impressive. Check it out:

Some finishes, there.

Higuain's only bagged six Serie A goals for AC Milan while on loan from Juventus, this season.

Though Maurizio Sarri has identified his former player as the man to change Chelsea's striking woes.

Sarri had Higuain whilst at Napoli and in the 2015/16 term, he netted an incredible 36 league goals in just 35 games.

The Italian gaffer has been forced to play Eden Hazard in a false No.9 position, and the Belgium ace is looking forward to linking up with the ex-Napoli bagsman.

"This season we have been playing good but we missed the guy to score just one goal," he said.

"It was like that against Spurs. If we had a striker that could score three goals, the game would have finished 5-1. But that hasn't been the case. [Gonzalo] Higuain can do that. He is a top scorer, he can score anywhere.

"Have we missed a striker like Costa since he left? Yes of course. I like playing with Giroud and Morata, but when Olivier is playing he is doing his best for the side, he is more of a team player than a striker that just scores goals."

Chelsea are back in action on Sunday in the FA Cup, before resuming their league campaign the following Wednesday vs. Bournemouth.
